I have finally finished Ellie's Christmas quilt. My daughter in law spent a lot of her childhood in Hawaii. The quilt is based on the book that belonged to Ellie's mother Belinda, Twas the Night Before Christmas in Hawaii. The three little girls represent my granddaughters. Ellie is the one with brown hair, Rosie has pig tails, and Caroline is asleep in the top hammock. The quilt is hand appliquéd and hand quilted. The back is a red flowered Hawaiian print. Next on my list is a Christmas stocking for my grandson, Sean. It will feature ugli dolls, maybe with elf hats on. Haven't designed it yet.
