Sean and his quilt

The blocks are finally finished.  I'm now off to the quilt store to buy setting, border, and backing fabric.  I think I will use a black and white print for the sashing, and cornerstones cut from some of the fabrics used in the robots.  Here also is a picture of Sean, the robot quilt recipient  in his dragon Halloween costume. Off the wall fridaysHere is the 10th block.  It is not my favorite, but I think it will do.

Off the Wall FridaysI have finished robot 9.  I have fabric ready to sew for 10.  The end of making the robots is in sight.

Robot Quilt

My 2 year old grandson wants a robot quilt.  He will have a double bed, so the quilt will need to fit it.  I am planning on 12 blocks, sashing, and a border to finish it.  So far I have 2 blocks finished, and a third one almost done.
